Решение было принято на заседании правительства региона, которое провёл первый вице-губернатор Самарской области – председатель кабмина Михаил Смирнов.
Ранее действующая стоимость была заниженной, осложняла приобретение жилья для сирот и переселенцев из ветхого фонда. Вновь утверждённые показатели, по оценке Минстроя, соответствуют рыночным.
