Правоохранительные органы ЛНР задержали жителя Лисичанска Дениса Мащенко. Его завербовали сотрудники СБУ. Мужчина собирал и передавал сведения о местах дислокации народной милиции ДНР и ЛНР, а также сведения об ополченцах, которые воюют против украинских боевиков.
«Меня встретили два сотрудника СБУ. Посадили в черный джип. Я им давал на камеру, что я обязуюсь помогать, выявлять тех, кто воевал против Украины в ополчении. Я давал фамилии, кого знал. У нас район маленький», — рассказал Мащенко.
«Бравого шпиона» просили фотографировать блокпосты и следовать за российской армией. Украинца Мащенко даже заставили устроиться на работу в МЧС или народную милицию, чтобы быть поближе к нашим бойцам.
Теперь Мащенко грозит наказание в виде 20 лет лишения свободы. Вероятно, это не тот исход, который он ожидал, шпионя за своими знакомыми и помогая украинским боевикам.

But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores.
