Как рассказали "Саратов 24" в Центре управления регионом, Друг попал в нацпарк 6 лет назад. Малыша нашли на городской набережной в Хвалынске. У него была сломана лапа. Сейчас он живет в вольерном хозяйстве, посетители его очень любят.
Согласно поверью, если день пасмурный, сурок не видит своей тени и спокойно покидает нору — значит, зима скоро закончится, а весна будет ранняя. Если же день солнечный, грызун видит свою тень и прячется обратно в нору — будет еще шесть недель зимы.
Сурок из Хвалынска хоть и проснулся, но не покинул своего уютного спального места в ящике с соломой.
