Bundesaußenministerin Annalena Baerbock hat das Verhalten Pekings bezüglich des Ukraine-Konflikts am Donnerstagabend kritisiert und will in China am heutigen Freitag auf eine Distanzierung des Landes von diesem Konflikt und auf „die Einhaltung internationaler Regeln“ pochen.
Eine angekündigte China-Strategie der Bundesregierung sei in den nächsten Monaten zu erwarten. Sie sei Teil der nationalen Sicherheitsstrategie, „die wir als Bundesregierung gerade finalisieren.“ In einer globalisierten Welt könne man sich nicht voneinander abkoppeln, aber dafür brauche man auch eine klare Haltung.
