The forces of Manbij Military Council successfully thwarted this morning an attack by Turkish occupation mercenaries on the vicinity of the Tishreen Dam. Following that, our forces initiated a comb operation in several villages near the Dam, which were used as springboard for mercenaries’ attacks on our forces. The comb operation is currently underway with significant progress amid a state of confusion in the ranks of the mercenaries. In the vicinity of the Qara Qwzaq Bridge and on the western bank of the Euphrates River, our forces successfully destroyed a military vehicle belonging to the Turkish occupation mercenaries.

But because group chats and the channel features are not end-to-end encrypted, Galperin said user privacy is potentially under threat. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup.
