В одобренной Стратегии участия Беларуси в ШОС определены концептуальные направления деятельности, цели и задачи участия Беларуси в ШОС и механизмы их реализации на ближайшую и среднесрочную перспективы.
В Стратегии, которая касается БРИКС, также определены приоритетные направления взаимодействия Беларуси с государствами-членами и государствами - партнерами этого Объединения.
Обе стратегии рассчитаны на пять лет до 2030 года. Они могут быть продлены, обновлены и пересмотрены с учетом тех или иных актуальных тенденций.
