Паромы «Александр Деев» и «Василий Ощепков» выпустит Амурский судостроительный завод. Оба корабля смогут выполнять рейсы в самых трудных погодных условиях, в том числе во льдах при толщине замерзшей воды до 1 метра.
Что касается технических характеристик, то вместимость каждого парома составляет 200 пассажиров, до 32 железнодорожных вагонов или 27 автосоставов, 9 легковых машин. Уже скоро Сахалинская область получит эти судна, что позволит увеличить транспортную доступность.
Кроме того, выход кораблей на паромную переправу предоставит возможность увеличить пассажиропоток и грузопоток между Сахалином и материком. Уже в ожидании!
