هل تعرفون من يدخل إلى صالة طعام (بوفيه مفتوح ) مليء بالموائد الشهية مما لذ وطاب ، من لحوم وأسماك وخضروات وبقوليات وحلوليات وما أنت راغب وما تعرف ومالا تعرف ، وهو يحمل شَره أشعب ونفسه النهمة و معدته الطاحنة التي لا تبقي ولا تذر ؛ إنها ذات الصورة التي يدخل بها صاحبي (نهم الكتب) شغف الطبعات على معرض الكتاب فهو يحمل معه صحنه (شنطته) (حمالة الكتب) كما (حمالة الحطب ) فيغدو ذات اليمين وذات الشمال كأنه أم رؤوم فقدت ابنها الرضيع ، يعب من الكتب (المطاعم ) وإذا ما ازدحمت الشنط وتعبأت الحمالات وتهيأت الأوقات وخلت الجيوب واقفل المعرض أبوابه ذهب صاحبنا إلى منزله ووضع أحماله كأنها أوزار من زينة القوم .. وهنا خلا بكتبه كما يخلو الحبيب بحبيبه ينظر قدها ويفلي شعرها ويقبل خدها ويضاحك ثغرها .. أو كما يخلو أشعب بالطعام الشهي ؛ فتراه يأكل من هنا قطعة و يهرش من هنا هرشة وينزع عن هذه نزعة حتى إذا ما بلغ كل منتهاه سقط مغشياً عليه من التخمة القاتلة ولكن للحياة بقية كما للقصة بقية ..
