Служил в Российской армии, награжден государственными наградами.
Он успешно прошел стажировку в Правительстве региона – три месяца изучал работу органов власти. Вместе с министром строительства региона Амиром Сафиным губернатор встретился с ним, чтобы обсудить планы на ближайшую работу. Теперь Николай Васильевич в числе прочего будет отвечать за сотрудничество с новыми территориями и работу с организациями по линии безопасности.
