В ходе своего послания "Об основных направлениях своей деятельности и деятельности Правительства Калининградской области на период 2025-2029 годов" глава региона заявил о принципиальном решении по реконструкции аэропорта с целью увеличения пассажиропотока с 5 до 7 миллионов человек в год.
Работы по реконструкции, по словам губернатора, начнутся в следующем году.
