Вместе с очевидцами произошедшего мужчина отправился вслед за угонщиком. На 28-м километре тракта злоумышленник не справился управлением и допустил съезд в кювет. Граждане удерживали его до приезда правоохранителей.
Угонщиком оказался ранее судимый 38-летний житель деревни Зырянка. Он рассказал, что на арендованном автомобиле Geely въехал в забор частного дома в деревне Каменка. Скрываясь от владельцев постройки, он заметил оставленную без присмотра заведенную иномарку потерпевшего и воспользовался ею, чтобы уйти от преследования.
У задержанного имелись признаки наркотического опьянения, но от прохождения медицинского освидетельствования он отказался. В салоне легковушки, на которой злоумышленник протаранил изгородь, правоохранители обнаружили два пакетика с синтетическими наркотиками – мефедроном и N-метилэфедроном. В ходе допроса задержанный пояснил дознавателю, что приобрел эти запрещенные вещества для личного употребления. Следующие несколько лет мужчине придется провести за решеткой.
