21 ноября в поселковой школе прошёл урок памяти, посвященный 90-летию со дня рождения Евдокии Степановны Бетту.
Дети узнали о жизненном пути Евдокии Степановны, изучили ее книги: «Катырык» (посвященная юбилею п. Катырык), «Долганская одежда», «Имена долган» и «Библия на долганском языке». О том, как она организовывала кружок традиционного долганского бисероплетения "Бисеринка" в Дудинке.
Евдокия Степановна - заслуженный работник культуры, педагог, почетный гражданин Таймыра. Родилась в долганской семье. Выпускница Игарского педучилища, более тридцати лет проработала в школах округа. В семидесятых–восьмидесятых годах работала педагогом дополнительного образования в Дудинском городском Доме детского творчества «Юность».
