We wrote that the defendants in the «Tyumen case» have been notified of the end of the investigation and will soon have to defend their innocence in the courts on the merits.

Now, the lawyers are at the stage of familiarization with the materials of the criminal case. In a few months we will have to pay for their participation in the courts on the merits. For this purpose, we need to raise 9 000 €. This amount should be enough to pay five lawyers.

Continuing its crackdown against entities allegedly involved in a front-running scam using messaging app Telegram, Sebi on Thursday carried out search and seizure operations at the premises of eight entities in multiple locations across the country. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. In this regard, Sebi collaborated with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) to reduce the vulnerability of the securities market to manipulation through misuse of mass communication medium like bulk SMS.
