784 Blood Incantation - Absolute Elsewhere #AOTY

Мені не треба ніякий Ілон Маск з його колонізацією Марсу, з цими денверськими тех-дех-металістами я вже в космосі. І це сама справжня подорож через зоряну браму кудись, де ти ще ніколи не був, а саме головне: ніколи такого ще не чув. Робити космічний технічний метал це, звісно, не новина, але робити це з такою глибиною, смакуючи кожен пасаж, дійсно вміють тільки Blood Incantation. І це вміння прогресую, як і сам матеріал стаю (перепрошую!) прогресивнішим, тут мимоволі напрошується саме банальне порівняння з Пінк Флойд, тільки ці задивляються не на темну сторону місяця, а якоїсь ще небаченої планети. А найцікавіше в цьому, що Absolute Elsewhere звучить зовсім не важко, точніше звучить дуже важко, а сприймається легко, не давить, не вичавлює з тебе нічого. На моїй памʼяті таке до цього вдавалось Опету, мабуть, тому я почув так багато схожого з цими шведами. Проте те відчуття безмежного чорного холодного, яке можна вловити у Кубрика, у Лавкрафта, у Лема, притаманне ще й цьому альбому, в лор якого хочеться пірнути, як в ті зірки на обкладинці, і все про це знати.

ℹ️ гурт нарешті зміг поспівпрацювати з легендами краутроку Tangerine Dream, яких вони вважають своїми кумирами;
