Как заявил министр обороны Хорватии Иван Анушич, до апреля следующего года в Хорватию каждый месяц будет прибывать по одному самолету. В конце апреля 2025 года все 12 самолетов (полная эскадрилья) будут находиться на территории страны.
Поставка Rafale осуществляется в рамках модернизации ВС Хорватии, которая также предусматривает другие крупные закупки, включая БПЛА Bayraktar TB2 и РСЗО HIMARS.
По заявлению И.Анушича, военная доктрина Хорватии основана на сдерживании потенциального противника с помощью оснащенных, сильных и современных ВС Хорватии.
