“Trumbo” is a 2015 American biographical drama film directed by Jay Roach and written by John McNamara.
The film follows the life of Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo, and is based on the 1977 biography “Dalton Trumbo” by Bruce Alexander Cook.

Dalton Trumbo was Hollywood’s top screenwriter who scripted many award-winning films. In 1947, he and nine other artists (given the nickname the “Unfriendly Ten” or “Hollywood Ten”) were blacklisted and put on trial for their political beliefs (present or past membership in, alleged membership in, or perceived sympathy with the Communist Party USA, or on the basis of their refusal to assist Congressional or FBI investigation of alleged Communist influences in the motion picture industry).

The S&P 500 fell 1.3% to 4,204.36, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.7% to 32,943.33. The Dow posted a fifth straight weekly loss — its longest losing streak since 2019. The regulator said it had received information that messages containing stock tips and other investment advice with respect to selected listed companies are being widely circulated through websites and social media platforms such as Telegram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. He adds: "Telegram has become my primary news source." Stocks closed in the red Friday as investors weighed upbeat remarks from Russian President Vladimir Putin about diplomatic discussions with Ukraine against a weaker-than-expected print on U.S. consumer sentiment. In view of this, the regulator has cautioned investors not to rely on such investment tips / advice received through social media platforms. It has also said investors should exercise utmost caution while taking investment decisions while dealing in the securities market.
