We are delighted to announce an open call for an exhibition project at Galeria Szczur! We want to open our space to curators and artists and establish new collaborations. We are looking for exhibition ideas, events, and artistic activities that will fill our space with new narratives and strategies.

ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ Who can apply?
We invite artists, curators, and collectives with a ready concept for an exhibition, a performative action, or an audiovisual project. Age, education, or affiliation with art institutions do not matter.

ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ What kind of projects are we interested in?
We are looking for proposals that explore current issues in contemporary art. We leave full freedom regarding medium, presentation form, and curatorial concept.

In the form, please include:

༝ a short bio,
༝ a project description (it does not have to be fully developed for exhibition; it can be an extended concept that we will work on together),

ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐷ What do we offer?
The selected project will receive substantive, organizational, and production support. We will work together on its realization over several months.
We provide a budget of 2000 PLN for production, transport, collaborator fees, and other justified costs. Additionally, the project authors will receive an honorarium of 2000 PLN. We offer access to our space, equipment, and tools necessary for the project's execution.

Residency for Ukrainian artist at the International Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf-Fronberg, Germany

In 2025, now in its third year, the Förderverein Oberpfälzer Künstlerhaus, in cooperation with its Ukrainian partner IZOLYATSIA. Platform for Cultural Initiatives is offering a special scholarship for a one-month residency for a Ukrainian artist at the International Künstlerhaus in Schwandorf-Fronberg.

The Irish Museum of Modern Art and the National College of Art and Design, as part of L’internationale Museum of the Commons, will host a Summer School in Dublin between 7 – 11 July 2025. This week-long programme of lectures, discussions, workshops and excursions will focus on the theme of Landscape (post) Conflict and will feature a number of national and international artists, theorists and educators including Jill Jarvis, Amanda Dunsmore, Yazan Kahlili, Zdenka Badovinac and Clare Bell, among others.
