Кадыров объявил, что бортпроводников Зульфугара Асадова и Айдан Рагимли наградят медалью «За заслуги перед Чеченской Республикой». Также в Чечне установят мемориальную плиту в память о жертвах трагедии.
«Я еще раз от имени всех жителей Чеченской Республики выражаю глубокие соболезнования Президенту Азербайджана Ильхаму Алиеву, а также семьям и близким погибших. Эта трагедия стала нашей общей болью. Мы искренне разделяем скорбь братского азербайджанского народа и молимся за души погибших», — заявил Кадыров.
