Естественная убыль населения (превышение числа умерших над числом родившихся) в России за 2024 год увеличилась на 20,4% по сравнению с 2023 годом, составив 596,2 тыс. человек против 495,2 тыс., сообщил в пятницу Росстат в докладе о естественном движении населения за 2024 год. Число родившихся в 2024 году снизилось на 3,4% - до 1 млн 222,4 тыс. детей с 1 млн 264,9 тыс. за 2023 год.
