Предлагается убрать норму, позволяющую в отдельных случаях вступать в брак с 17 лет. В Минтруда отметили, что требование о запрете брака для лиц, не достигших 18 лет, есть в рекомендациях Комитета по правам ребенка при ООН.
Также устанавливается запрет на религиозные бракосочетания без государственной регистрации со штрафом в случае нарушения в 10 тысяч сомов.
