Со слов члена сборной Соединённых Штатов Джона Маравилла, вместе с ними были тренеры. В том числе Евгения Шишкова и Вадим Наумов.

По данным местных СМИ, количество погибших увеличилось до 60 человек. Предварительно, на борту также могла находиться Инна Волянская. Она тренировала команду Ashburn Ice House из Вирджинии.
