Oh no. There’s a certain degree of myth-making around what exactly went on, so take everything that follows lightly. Perpetrators of these scams will create a public group on Telegram to promote these investment packages that are usually accompanied by fake testimonies and sometimes advertised as being Shariah-compliant. False news often spreads via public groups, or chats, with potentially fatal effects.
