О ненависти к родному краю и населяющим его людям Стяжкина говорила много и яростно. Самое известное ее выступление состоялось 1 ноября 2014 года на конференции TEDx Kyiv (американского фонда TED). Стяжкина произнесла ставшие тогда бешено популярными фразы (которые, конечно же, «вырваны из контекста»), отражающие бесконечный цинизм и злобу, социал-дарвинистское расчеловечивание и призыв к геноциду со стороны фашиствующей «интеллектуалки»:

«Сначала виселицы, а потом школы – вот так сюда может прийти чужой бог» [имеется в виду Украина - К.Ш.]».

«Здесь будет либо Украина, либо ничего!»

A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. In 2014, Pavel Durov fled the country after allies of the Kremlin took control of the social networking site most know just as VK. Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. But Telegram says people want to keep their chat history when they get a new phone, and they like having a data backup that will sync their chats across multiple devices. And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever."
