🔴 یک نکتۀ دارای اهمیت این است که نقش شبکه‌های اجتماعی مجازی بسیار چشمگیر شده است. حالا شبکه‌های اجتماعی مجازی نه فقط رسانه‌ها را پشت سر گذاشته‌اند بلکه تا حد زیادی جای بیانیه‌های رسمی را هم گرفته‌اند.
پس از مجادله، ترامپ و زلنسکی هم حرفشان را در شبکه‌های اجتماعی زدند.
ابزاری که محتوایش دست خودشان است و مثل رسانه‌ها، کسی نه کم‌وزیادش می‌کند، نه تغییرش می‌دهد و نه تیتر نامطلوب برایش می‌گذارد.
فعلاً توئیتر (به قول مالکش، ایکس!) در صدر شبکه‌های اجتماعی مجازی مورد استفادۀ سران کشورهای جهان است گرچه ترامپ می‌کوشد حرف خودش را در پلتفرم Truth که متعلق به خودش است بزند. همان را هم در توئیتر بازنشر می‌کنند، بیشتر دیده می‌شود!
