1. «Денежные переводы из ФРС сократились с $37 млрд до менее чем $1 млрд. Более высокие ставки подняли процентные расходы ЦБ выше его доходов, что лишило прибыли большинство банков ФРС».
2. «Чистые расходы на проценты по госдолгу увеличились на $58 млрд или на 41%, так как процентные ставки значительно выше, чем в первые 4 месяца 2022 фингода».

TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
