Посвященный развитию СМП проект реализован при поддержке института развития Интернета. «В фильме показана многовековая история ледового пространства и рождение ледоколов последнего поколения - от постройки на стапеле до отправления в рейс. Съемочная группа стала полноценной частью команды ледокола "Сибирь" и засвидетельствовала все детали ее деятельности», - сообщает ТАСС.
«Северный морской путь» стал одним из победителей второго фестиваля документального контента стриминговых платформ Original+Doc, прошедшего в августе 2024 года. Премьера сериала вскоре состоится на платформе «Смотрим».
