🔹 PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE
_I am doing / You are doing / He is doing_
🔥 RULE 1: Hozirgi vaqtda sodir bo'layotgan ish-harakatni ifodalashThe children are playing football at the stadium now.
Present continuous gapirilayotgan paytda sodir bo‘layotgan, yoki bo‘lmayotgan ish-harakatlarni ko‘rsatish uchun ishlatiladi. Bu ish-harakatni ko‘rishimiz yoki tasavvur qilishimiz mumkin.
Examples:
1️⃣ "Where are the children?" "They're playing in the garden."
2️⃣ "What are you doing at the moment?" "I'm writing a letter."
3️⃣ You can switch off the TV. I'm not watching it.
4️⃣ What are you doing here? I am still looking for my keys.
5️⃣ "Where is Margaret?" "She's having a bath."
6️⃣ I am glad that it isn't raining, because I don't have an umbrella.
7️⃣ (at a party) Hello, Ann. Are you enjoying the party?

Buyruq gaplar biror shaxsning e’tiborini bajarilayotgan ish harakatga qaratishga xizmat qilishi mumkin. Bunda buyruq gaplar ham Present continuous uchun signal vazifasini o‘taydi.
🔥 RULE 2: Vaqtinchalik ish-harakatlarI am reading an interesting book. (in a cafe)
Present continuous gapirilayotgan payt atrofida bajarilayotgan vaqtinchalik ish-harakatlarni ifodalash uchun ishlatiladi. Bu ish harakatlar aynan gapirilayotgan paytda sodir bo‘lmayotgan bo‘lishi mumkin. Sharti: boshlanishi va oxiri ma’lum bo‘lgan ish-harakatlar.
Examples:
1️⃣ She's looking for a job at the moment.
2️⃣ Please don't take that book. Ann is reading it.
3️⃣ Andrew is spending a lot of time in the library these days, as he's writing an article.
4️⃣ Have you heard about Tom? He's building his own house.
🔥 RULE 3: Vaqtinchalik yashash yoki faoliyatI am living in Tashkent for the time being.
Present continuous vaqtinchalik bajarilayotgan ish-harakatlarni ko‘rsatish uchun ishlatiladi. Bunday gaplarda quyidagi signal so‘zlar ishlatilishi mumkin: this+time (this week, these days), today, for the time being va boshqalar.
Examples:
1️⃣ Robert is on holiday this week. He's staying with his sister in Bournemouth.
2️⃣ 'You're working hard today.' 'Yes, I have a lot to do.'
3️⃣ They are living in Hong Kong for the time being.
4️⃣ I can't phone Peter. The phone isn't working.
🔥 RULE 4: O‘zgarishlar (Changes)The population of the world is rising very fast.
Gapirilayotgan vaqt atrofida sodir bo‘layotgan o‘zgarishlar (changes) present continuous bilan ifodalanadi. Odatda quyidagi fe’llar bilan ishlatiladi: get, become, rise, change, improve, grow, increase, fall, begin, start.
Examples:
1️⃣ The population of the world is rising very fast.
2️⃣ Computers are becoming more and more important in our lives.
3️⃣ Your children are growing up very quickly.
4️⃣ Is your English getting better?
