سافر القاضي المصري تاج الدين ابن بنت الأعز (ت 665 هجري) لأداء فريضة الحج، وزار المدينة المنورة، وهناك أنشد قصيدة طويلة مدح بها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهي جميلة جدا بليغة مطلعها : الناس بين مُرَجِّزٍ ومقَصّد ¤¤ ومطول في مدحه ومجود ومخَبرٍ عمن روى ومعبر ¤¤ عما رآه من العلا والسؤدد
منها عن الإسراء: لم ترتفع لله عن خفض ولم ¤¤ تقرب إليه من مكان مبعدِ لكن أرى محبوبَه ملكوته ¤¤ حتى يشاهد فيه ما لم يشهدِ
وما أرق قوله وأصدقه حين يقول: وإذا مررت على القلوب فكنت كالْ ¤¤ أرج الذكيِّ يرد روح المكمَدِ
