Как передает Арменпресс, в городе Джермук стартовали соревнования по нескольким видам спорта в рамках II Панармянских зимних игр.В борьбу вступили спортсмены, соревнующиеся в лыжных гонках, гонках на снегоходах, а также в шахматах и танцевальных видах соревнований.
Первыми призерами II Панармянских зимних игр стали лыжники. Обладателем золотой медали в мужском вольном стиле стал Микаэл Микаелян, член сборной Армении по лыжным гонкам, двукратный участник Олимпийских игр, представлявший Ашоцк. Спартак Восканян занял второе место, а Тадевос Погосян, замкнул тройку лидеров — оба из Ашоцка.
В вольном стиле среди женщин первое место заняла многократная чемпионка Армении Катя Галстян из Ашоцка, на втором месте Васелина Хачатурян из Сочи, а на третьем месте — Роза Симонян из Гюмри.
