Директор музея-института Эдита Гзоян рассказала ей об истории создания мемориала, о трех хачкарах, которые были установлены на территории мемориала в память о жертвах армянских погромов в Сумгаите, Кировабаде и Баку.

Тунберг минутой молчания почтила у вечного огня память жертв Геноцида армян. Она также побывала в музее Геноцида армян, ознакомившись с его экспозицией, после чего сделала запись в книге почетных гостей музея.
