McDonald's сообщил об уходе из Казахстана в начале 2023 года на фоне сокращения поставок. Власти Казахстана объяснили закрытие тем, что у компании возникли проблемы после продажи российского бизнеса.
В январе 2023 года на ресторанах были установлены вывески «Мы открылись». С августа сеть работала под разными названиями — по именам сотрудников компании.

And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read."
