قال الطحاوي: «كان ابن أبي عمران يحكي أنه سمع يحيى بن أكثم يقول: وجدته -يعني وجوب الإطعام في ذلك- عن ستة من الصحابة، ولم أجد لهم من الصحابة مخالفا». «مختصر اختلاف العلماء» ٢٢/٢.
