Действующий сенатор от заксобрания Валерий Семенов перейдет на работу в представительство края в Москве, а Усс пересядет в его кресло.
Компанию Александру Уссу в Совете Федерации составят другие экс-губернаторы: бывший глава Томской области Виктор Кресс, бывший глава Алтайского края Александр Карлин, бывший губернатор Саратовской области Валерий Радаев.
