Вчера прошла финальная встреча лаборатории #прожитонарисовано перед выставкой, которая откроется 14-го декабря в Библиотеке книжной графики и в Проруби.

Мы вспомнили, что происходило за несколько месяцев лаборатории, с апреля 2024, обсудили наши впечатления и результаты. Катерина Копейкина и Мила Деларова рассказали о своих работах, которые будут представлены на выставке.

А в конце был небольшой сюрприз: я принесла на просмотр крайне интересный "дневник внеклассного чтения", который недавно купила на аукционе Северного аукционного дома. В этот дневник советская девочка начала 50-х годов вписывала свои впечатления от прочитанных книг, сопровождая их иллюстрациями — рисунками и вырезками 📝

Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said. Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." Telegram boasts 500 million users, who share information individually and in groups in relative security. But Telegram's use as a one-way broadcast channel — which followers can join but not reply to — means content from inauthentic accounts can easily reach large, captive and eager audiences. The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych.
