Выступила на конференции «Современные медиа: смысловые стратегии и подготовка кадров»

Форум объединил экспертов медиаиндустрии для обсуждения актуальных вопросов информационной политики, коммуникаций и подготовки профессиональных кадров для медиасферы.

Модератором пленарной сессии выступил директор Института медиа Высшей школы экономики Эрнест Мацкявичюс. Во встрече приняли участие пресс-секретарь Президента России Дмитрий Песков, директор Департамента информации и печати Министерства иностранных дел России Мария Захарова, генеральный директор ТАСС Андрей Кондрашов и другие. По видеоконференцсвязи к разговору присоединился врио Губернатора Курской области Александр Хинштейн.

Как журналист по первой специальности поделилась с участниками и гостями конференции своим мнением о том, какую роль должна сыграть пресса для сохранения культурных ценностей, а также чему стоит учить медиаспециалистов в соответствии с запросами времени.

Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” The next bit isn’t clear, but Durov reportedly claimed that his resignation, dated March 21st, was an April Fools’ prank. TechCrunch implies that it was a matter of principle, but it’s hard to be clear on the wheres, whos and whys. Similarly, on April 17th, the Moscow Times quoted Durov as saying that he quit the company after being pressured to reveal account details about Ukrainians protesting the then-president Viktor Yanukovych. Recently, Durav wrote on his Telegram channel that users' right to privacy, in light of the war in Ukraine, is "sacred, now more than ever." Right now the digital security needs of Russians and Ukrainians are very different, and they lead to very different caveats about how to mitigate the risks associated with using Telegram. For Ukrainians in Ukraine, whose physical safety is at risk because they are in a war zone, digital security is probably not their highest priority. They may value access to news and communication with their loved ones over making sure that all of their communications are encrypted in such a manner that they are indecipherable to Telegram, its employees, or governments with court orders. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
