❓… cлово der Friedhof (кладбище) не имеет ничего общего с der Frieden (покой, спокойствие, мир). Friedhof произошло от слова frīthof. В Althochdeutsch оно означало eingefriedeter Vorhof einer Kirche - "огороженный двор церкви".

❓… cлово windschief (искривлённый, косой) не имеет ничего общего с der Wind (ветер). Это слово пошло от глагола winden - крутить, перекручивать. И поэтому der windschiefe Baum это не обязательно от ветра покосившееся дерево.

❓… cлово der Wahnsinn (безумие) не имеет ничего общего с der Wahn (иллюзия, бред, заблуждение). Оно пошло от древневерхненемецкого wan, которое означало "отсутствующий, пустой", то есть Wahnsinn - досл. "лишенный смысла".

❓… cлово die Schnapsdrossel (пьяница, выпивоха) не имеет ничего общего с птицами (die Drossel это "дрозд"). Происхождение слова связано со словом drozze (горло, глотка). Отсюда же и глагол erdrosseln - "душить".
