Проспект должен был разгрузить Мясницкую улицу, которая с 1932 года называлась улицей Кирова. Потому будущей магистрали было дано рабочее название Новокировский. Хотя официально такое имя проспекта не было утверждено.
На чёрно-белом снимке хорошо видна старинная застройка, выходящая на Садовую-Спасскую. Виден даже небольшой ларёк с вывеской, то ли «Табак», то ли «Лапша». В 1970-е всё было снесено...

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has been a driving force in markets for the past few weeks. But the Ukraine Crisis Media Center's Tsekhanovska points out that communications are often down in zones most affected by the war, making this sort of cross-referencing a luxury many cannot afford. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news.
