Но это полдела. В РФ его ввели на государственном уровне в лихие/святые 90-е(!!!), просто в отличие от неофициальных Валентина с Хэлловином практически не пиарили в медиа.
И так в "русском мире" всё.
ЗЫ Справедливости ради, в РИ день матери появился через год после того, как стал государственным в США, но просуществовал лишь на уровне скаутских организаций и буквально пару лет.
