Теория о том, что Путину очень нужна война и без нее он потеряет власть, кажется мне странной. Ничего не мешает и после прекращения боевых действий сохранить внутреннюю политику в нынешнем виде под соусом «мы готовимся к новой войне, враги кругом». И так жить много лет. Коммунисты все 20-30-е годы пугали населения войной и готовились к ней, при том что войны не было до 1939 года. Имея репрессивную машину, вполне можно обходиться и без внешней войны.

Russia's intelligence agency had asked Durov to turn over the data of anti-Kremlin protesters. Durov refused to do so. In a message on his Telegram channel recently recounting the episode, Durov wrote: "I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation."
