В Воронеже наградили лауреатов премии по журналистике

В 2024 году на конкурс было подано более 250 заявок. Они принимались в рамках 11 основных и 6 специальных номинаций.

Больше всего заявок было подано в номинациях «Очерк года» (27), «Аналитика года» (23), «Духовные ценности» (22), «Патриотическое воспитание» (20). Активно участвуют в конкурсе и молодые журналисты — 12 заявок в номинации «Дебют года» имени Л.Е. Кройчика.

Победителей поздравили губернатор Александр Гусев и председатель Воронежской областной Думы Владимир Нетёсов.

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. Oleksandra Matviichuk, a Kyiv-based lawyer and head of the Center for Civil Liberties, called Durov’s position "very weak," and urged concrete improvements. "The argument from Telegram is, 'You should trust us because we tell you that we're trustworthy,'" Maréchal said. "It's really in the eye of the beholder whether that's something you want to buy into." Asked about its stance on disinformation, Telegram spokesperson Remi Vaughn told AFP: "As noted by our CEO, the sheer volume of information being shared on channels makes it extremely difficult to verify, so it's important that users double-check what they read." A Russian Telegram channel with over 700,000 followers is spreading disinformation about Russia's invasion of Ukraine under the guise of providing "objective information" and fact-checking fake news. Its influence extends beyond the platform, with major Russian publications, government officials, and journalists citing the page's posts.
