«УКС Иркутска» получил разрешение на строительство трёхэтажного здания лицея ИГУ общей площадью 14 тысяч квадратных метров на улице Мелентьева. Строить его будет ООО «СибСтальСтрой» (ОГРН 1053808043299, владелец — Эдуард Мелконян), сообщается на сайте госзакупок.
Участок для строительства располагается напротив школы №19 и перегораживает улицу Старо-Кузьмихинскую. Проект уже готов, его сделала компания из Пензы. В здании будет учиться 825 детей, в нём должны быть бассейн с душевыми, спортзал, классные комнаты, кабинет робототехники, планетарий, телестудию и театральную студию, актовый зал на 360 мест. Во дворе школы будет спортивная площадка с беговой дорожкой, гимнастический городок и площади для подвижных игр.
