Она сложила полномочия после создания объединенной Федерации гимнастики России, в которую вошли руководящие органы Всероссийской федерации художественной гимнастики, Федерации спортивной гимнастики, Федерации прыжков на батуте, Федерации спортивной акробатики и Всероссийской федерации спортивной аэробики.
Президентом новой федерации стал глава РЖД Олег Белозеров. Кроме него в президиум войдут главы федераций по гимнастическим видам.
