Один из древнейших городов России. Дата его основания отсчитывается от 862 года, то есть еще до официального появления государственности и крещения Руси. Но это общепринятая дата, а так следы поселений здесь прослеживаются уже с VII века.
Рассказывать про город можно очень долго – начиная от архитектурных богатств, заканчивая местной природой. Город, как и Переславль, стоит на берегу озера, которое имеет мерянское название Неро. Попробуем описать, что мы там увидели, где жили и что ели😊
