В Министерстве внутренних дел сообщили, что для обеспечения общественного порядка, своевременного предупреждения и пресечения преступлений в период празднования Нового года полиция в Алматы переведена на усиленный вариант несения службы.
Увеличено количество патрульных нарядов, уплотнены маршруты несения службы, привлечены к пешему патрулированию 300 военнослужащих Национальной гвардии.
На особом контроле — места массового скопления людей и локации поведения культурно-зрелищных мероприятий.
