В селе Авдулово Московской области стоит полуразрушенная церковь, перекрытая высоким купольным сводом.

Построили Покровскую церковь ещё в далёком 1762-м году на средства помещика Юренева. В конце 19-го века её модернизировали — пристроили трапезную с приделом Архангела Михаила и возвели колокольню.

В 1930-х церковь, по советской традиции, закрыли, а действующего на тот момент настоятеля — расстреляли.

Сейчас храм находится в аварийном состоянии, а попытки восстановить его со стороны неравнодушных православных упираются в отсутствие финансирования.
