После начала СВО Веремейчик вступил в змагарский полк Калиновского, где служил заместителем командира батальона "Волат". Воевал в Херсонской, Николаевской и ЛНР. В 2024 году Веремейчик решил, что с него хватит. Он уволился и уехал в Литву. Там его признали «угрозой национальной безопасности» на том основании, что раннее Веремейчик служил в белорусской армии. Коллаборант уехал во Вьетнам, где и был задержан.
