This vase, which was displayed on February 23rd, 1944, was followed by dozens of other works, including the Falcon that earned Sotnikov the Grand Prix of the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair (this sculpture is familiar to all of us through its graphic representation, which serves as a logo of Dulyovo Porcelain Factory). It seems fitting, however, to show you a series of war-related sculptures that Sotnikov began creating when he was recovering from a wound. He carried his first figurines in his duffel bag and turned them into porcelain miniatures upon his return to Dulyovo. Some of Sotnikov’s sculptures were reportedly presented to military personnel together with combat decorations.

"We're seeing really dramatic moves, and it's all really tied to Ukraine right now, and in a secondary way, in terms of interest rates," Octavio Marenzi, CEO of Opimas, told Yahoo Finance Live on Thursday. "This war in Ukraine is going to give the Fed the ammunition, the cover that it needs, to not raise interest rates too quickly. And I think Jay Powell is a very tepid sort of inflation fighter and he's not going to do as much as he needs to do to get that under control. And this seems like an excuse to kick the can further down the road still and not do too much too soon." Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. Crude oil prices edged higher after tumbling on Thursday, when U.S. West Texas intermediate slid back below $110 per barrel after topping as much as $130 a barrel in recent sessions. Still, gas prices at the pump rose to fresh highs. Multiple pro-Kremlin media figures circulated the post's false claims, including prominent Russian journalist Vladimir Soloviev and the state-controlled Russian outlet RT, according to the DFR Lab's report.
