Ему назначено 17 лет колонии строгого режима. Гособвинитель Максим Филлипов просил приговорить его к 19 годам лишения свободы.
Свою вину Головин признал. 9 сентября сентября 2024 года он пробрался в квартиру Середкина и несколько раз ударил топором жертву. Действия происходили на глазах 11-летнего ребенка. После убийства он сам вызвал полицию.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. Groups are also not fully encrypted, end-to-end. This includes private groups. Private groups cannot be seen by other Telegram users, but Telegram itself can see the groups and all of the communications that you have in them. All of the same risks and warnings about channels can be applied to groups. "There are a lot of things that Telegram could have been doing this whole time. And they know exactly what they are and they've chosen not to do them. That's why I don't trust them," she said.
