Я подготовила слайды с короткими и понятными предложениями, а в ответ мне предложили изменить на какой-то суперзабористый текст. Например, там была такая фраза "Increase retention rate by leveraging CRM segmentation and real-time analytics. Scattered tech stack and high dependancy of data science to pull audiences and share data with marketing team”. Читаешь первые пять слов и дальше дочитывать тошно. Ильяхова на них нет 😁 Зато есть я, так что свое право на простую коммуникацию я отвоевала. 👊🏻 Оставили в итоге оригинальный предложенный мной вариант. Название лекции я бы, кстати, тоже переделала, но уже никак.
Складывается впечатление, что tech компании в сейлс питчах, на конференциях как будто намеренно усложняют язык. Это зачем? Чтобы казаться круче? В итоге читатель/слушатель еще тратит время чтобы докопаться до сути и понять, что же хотел сказать автор. Кто работает на английском языке, поделитесь своими ощущениями на этот счет.

On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations.
