Казахстан планирует в 2025 году завершить расширение своего крупнейшего месторождения Тенгиз стоимостью $45 млрд, которое длилось 10 лет. Республика сможет добывать порядка 260 тыс. барр./сут. с середины следующего года.
За последнюю четверть века такая картина повторялась несколько раз, когда кто-то из членов ОПЕК+ много вкладывал в добычу и с нетерпением стремился их окупить. В начале столетия в этом роли выступил Алжир, в 2010-е годы — Ирак. До недавнего времени так поступали ОАЭ, а теперь, как ожидается, пришло время Казахстана.
Между тем, напомним, что республика и без того упорно не выполняет сделку ОПЕК+, добывая выше квот. А значит, единственный выход для нее — сильно сокращать добычу на других участках. Тем более, что нефть на Тенгизе самая выгодная по себестоимости.
Напомним, Казахстан обязался компенсировать перепроизводство нефти в рамках сделки ОПЕК+ в этом году в срок до сентября следующего года.

Given the pro-privacy stance of the platform, it’s taken as a given that it’ll be used for a number of reasons, not all of them good. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Official government accounts have also spread fake fact checks. An official Twitter account for the Russia diplomatic mission in Geneva shared a fake debunking video claiming without evidence that "Western and Ukrainian media are creating thousands of fake news on Russia every day." The video, which has amassed almost 30,000 views, offered a "how-to" spot misinformation. At this point, however, Durov had already been working on Telegram with his brother, and further planned a mobile-first social network with an explicit focus on anti-censorship. Later in April, he told TechCrunch that he had left Russia and had “no plans to go back,” saying that the nation was currently “incompatible with internet business at the moment.” He added later that he was looking for a country that matched his libertarian ideals to base his next startup. Telegram has gained a reputation as the “secure” communications app in the post-Soviet states, but whenever you make choices about your digital security, it’s important to start by asking yourself, “What exactly am I securing? And who am I securing it from?” These questions should inform your decisions about whether you are using the right tool or platform for your digital security needs. Telegram is certainly not the most secure messaging app on the market right now. Its security model requires users to place a great deal of trust in Telegram’s ability to protect user data. For some users, this may be good enough for now. For others, it may be wiser to move to a different platform for certain kinds of high-risk communications.
